Abstract Title: Modernized and scientificized the Traditional Eastern Medicine (TEM) Afflization: Thuy NgM – Member of the Vietnamese Acupuncture Association, Vietnam.
Biography: From 1986-2024, lectures about TEM at Vietnamese Haiphong University of Medicine & Pharmacy; 2007-2017, head of Traditional Medical Department, Haiphong Medical University Hospital; 2004-2024, the master, main lecturer of Haiphong University of Medicine & Pharmacy and, from May 2024 to the present, he is member of Vietnamese Acupuncture Association.
Research Interest: Quang NgB, Thanh TrV, Canh DX, Thuc PhV et al – The leading industry experts of the World and Vietnamese Acupuncture & Traditional Medical Associations, Vietnam. For developing TEM more modernly, scientificly and fastly, we had realization as follows: 1. About concepts of TEM We had awarenesses about TEM’ concepts as follows: The yin 陰includes: The anabolism, metabolic materials, zang 臟etc. The yang 陽includes: The catabolism, metabolism, fu 腑, etc. The qi 氣is metabolism. The xue 血is metabolic materials. The jing 精is genotype or structure. The shen 神is phenotype or function. The true qi gong 氣功will be adjusted or restored or changed metabolisms of body or any of part follow wish. 2. About Yin Yang theory be applied in Medicine When apply this theory in medicine, we have realized its contents follows modern science. All related to the anabolism, catabolism, metabolism and metabolic material of body. When being disease, that’s imbalances by or increase or/and reduction of those 4 processes at the one or many certain zang fu 臟腑, jing luo 經絡 in body. The treatments by the herbal medicine, acupuncture, etc are bio-physicochemical interactions to adjust and recuperate those imbalances of so processes at corresponding ill zang fu, jing luo. 3. Hypotheses about the structure of Meridian – Acupoint’ system (MAS) & interactive mechanism of Acupuncture and Moxibustion therapies (IMAMT) We had those two hypotheses as follows: The MAS is a stretching convergence of cell’ organizations have metabolisms in close connection with functions of each acupoint, each meridian, each viscera and of entire meridian system at connective system. The IMAMT is adjustment and recuperation of physicsochemical properties of interstitial fluid, whereby will be adjusted and recuperated metabolisms at choosey acupoints, at meridian, at viscera and entire meridian system. When testing those hypotheses, we very need to be received scientists’ helps in many fields of Biomedicine.
